Headboard fixing through panelling

Freestanding headboard needs no fix. Wall-mounted headboard brackets must hit studs or use toggle through panelling into masonry — MDF strips alone weak for shear load.

Mark bracket positions before adhesive; omit adhesive behind bracket zone or use plywood paders secreted in grid.

Colour and sleep psychology
